Web app
No installation needed, in any modern browser. You can also add it to your home screen or desktop: it opens with its own icon, in its own window, like an app.
Add to your home screen or desktop
iPhone and iPad - Safari
Open app.jurisafeai.com, tap the Share button (a square with an upward arrow), then choose “Add to Home Screen”.
Android - Chrome
Open the site, tap the ⋮ menu, then “Install app” (formerly: “Add to Home screen”).
Computer - Chrome or Edge
Open the site, click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, then “Install”.
Desktop app
A native window for macOS, Windows and Linux - quick to launch, with a dock or taskbar icon. The same legal assistant as on the web; an internet connection is required.

First launch: the apps are not signed yet
macOS: right-click the app → Open, or System Settings → Privacy & Security → “Open Anyway”.

Linux: make the AppImage file executable (chmod +x); install the .deb package with your package manager.

Installation
- Unzip the downloaded .zip file.
- Open
chrome://extensions(in Edge:edge://extensions). - Turn on Developer mode.
- Click “Load unpacked” and select the unzipped folder.
- Paste your API key (
jsafe_apikey_…) into the extension's Settings.
Word and Excel add-in
A task pane in Word and Excel: ask a question, and insert the cited answer at the cursor or into the active cell with one click.
Office on the web
Insert → Add-ins → “Upload My Add-in”, then select the downloaded manifest file.
Mac
Copy the manifest file into this folder: ~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.Word/Data/Documents/wef (for Excel, the same under com.microsoft.Excel), restart the app, then Insert → Add-ins.
Windows
Put the manifest file in a shared network folder and add it as a trusted catalog (File → Options → Trust Center → Trusted Add-in Catalogs), then Insert → My Add-ins → Shared Folder.
